Location: Mount Olive, North Carolina

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem schedule (days vary), 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, Day shift

Hours per Week: 38

Candidate Pay Rate: $31 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to patients in a hospital setting
Administer medications and treatments accurately and document patient responses
Perform routine assessments and communicate changes in condition to the care team
Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
Maintain accurate, timely charting in the patient record and follow facility protocols
Support patient education and discharge planning with a focus on safety and recovery

Qualifications

Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license (state licensure required or eligible)
Previous practical nursing experience preferred but new grads with strong clinical skills are welcome
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or willing to obtain
Ability to pass facility background checks and health screenings
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Education

Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent
High school diploma or GED

Knowledge & Skills

Solid understanding of medication administration and basic nursing procedures
Patient assessment and vital signs monitoring
Clear, timely clinical documentation and charting
Good time management and prioritization in a fast-paced setting
Comfortable working with electronic medical records and care teams
