Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to assigned patients
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
Monitor vital signs and promptly report changes in patient condition
Document care thoroughly and maintain accurate patient records
Collaborate with nurses, providers, and support staff to coordinate care
Assist with patient mobility, activities of daily living, and comfort measures
Follow facility protocols for infection control and patient safety
Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and discharge instructions

Qualifications

Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in North Carolina required
Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or required per facility
Comfortable working per-diem/day shifts and adapting to unit needs
Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
Professional attitude, reliable attendance, and commitment to patient-centered care

Education

LPN diploma or certificate program completion
High school diploma or GED

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and basic nursing interventions
Medication administration and monitoring for side effects
Accurate clinical documentation and charting
Infection control practices and safety protocols
Time management and prioritization in a busy clinical setting
Clear, compassionate communication with patients, families, and staff
