Location: Rio Rancho, NM

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (as-needed), 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM Night shift (NOC)

Hours per Week: 38

Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
Monitor residents, report changes in condition, and communicate clearly with nursing staff
Assist with safe transfers, mobility support, and positioning to promote comfort and dignity
Follow care plans and document care accurately and timely to support continuity
Maintain a clean, safe environment and adhere to infection control practices
Build trusting relationships with residents and families through kind, respectful interactions

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or obtained upon hire
Comfortable working overnight shifts and flexible per-diem scheduling
Able to pass required background checks and health screenings
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Completion of an approved CNA program and active certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Patient-centered care and assistance with ADLs
Basic vital signs monitoring and documentation
Safe transfer and mobility techniques
Infection prevention and safe handling procedures
Clear, professional communication with residents and clinical team
Team collaboration and time management in fast-paced settings
