Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on care to geriatric residents, supporting dignity and comfort
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
- Monitor and document resident condition and behavior changes accurately
- Support meal service and feeding assistance while respecting dietary needs
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team to follow care plans
- Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control procedures
- Communicate kindly and clearly with residents and their families to build trust
Qualifications
- Current GNA certification (required)
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Comfortable working with geriatric population and assisting with ADLs
- Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
- Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude
- Previous long-term care or nursing assistant experience preferred but not required
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- GNA certification (state-required)
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of basic geriatric care principles and safety
- Skillful in personal care, transfers, and safe resident handling
- Accurate documentation and charting habits
- Strong observational skills to notice changes in resident condition
- Friendly bedside manner and effective interpersonal skills
