Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care to geriatric residents, treating each person with dignity and respect
Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Support safe mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices as needed
Observe residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to nursing staff
Document care and resident interactions accurately and timely
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver consistent, resident-focused care
Contribute to a warm, comfortable environment that promotes resident well-being

Qualifications

Current GNA certification (required)
Comfortable working day shift hours (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM)
Friendly, patient-centered attitude and strong communication skills
Ability to follow care plans and report observations clearly to the nursing team

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamental knowledge of geriatric care and respectful, person-centered approaches
Skilled at assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs)
Good observational skills and the ability to report changes in resident condition
Strong teamwork and communication with residents, families, and clinical staff
Time management to prioritize resident needs during your shift
