Shift Type: Per-diem (as-needed), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening shift)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, person-centered care to geriatric residents throughout your shift
- Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Monitor and document resident condition, reporting changes to the nursing team promptly
- Support safe transfers and ambulation while following proper body mechanics
- Help maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for residents
- Communicate effectively and kindly with residents, families, and multidisciplinary staff
- Follow infection control standards and facility policies to protect residents and staff
Qualifications
- Current GNA (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) certification required
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Previous experience in long-term care or geriatrics is a plus
- Ability to pass background checks, health screenings, and required immunizations
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered attitude
- Physical ability to assist residents with mobility and transfers
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- GNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Comfortable assisting with ADLs and basic personal care
- Basic clinical observation skills and accurate documentation
- Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
- Good teamwork and communication with nursing staff and families
- Time management skills to prioritize resident needs during a shift
- Respect for resident dignity, confidentiality, and cultural preferences
