Shift Type: Per Diem (variable days as scheduled), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Evening shift (Second Shift)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing and toileting
- Assist residents with safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics
- Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output and observe changes in condition
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate concerns to the nursing team
- Support a safe, clean and dignified environment for residents
- Build rapport with residents and families to deliver person-centered care
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
- CPR/BLS certification required or obtainable prior to or upon hire
- Ability to pass required background checks and drug screening
- Up-to-date immunizations and TB screening per facility policy
- Reliable transportation and the ability to work the scheduled shift
- Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred; completion of an approved CNA training program required
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic clinical skills: taking vitals, assisting with ADLs and safe patient handling
- Familiarity with documentation and charting best practices
- A caring bedside manner and ability to build trusting relationships
- Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
- Team communication skills and willingness to collaborate with RNs and other staff
