Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Per diem (days vary), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening / night shift)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Assist with safe transfers, ambulation, and positioning of residents
- Take and record vital signs accurately and promptly
- Communicate clearly and kindly with patients, families, and the care team
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
- Document care and observations in resident charts according to facility standards
- Support infection control practices and facility policies at all times
Qualifications
- Active CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant)
- Current basic life support (BLS/CPR) preferred or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass background check and meet facility health requirements
- Previous patient care experience preferred but enthusiastic new CNAs are welcome
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and able to manage physical demands of the role
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an approved CNA program and state certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of ADLs, basic nursing procedures, and infection control
- Comfortable taking vitals and observing/reporting changes
- Good charting and documentation habits
- Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow care plans and direction from licensed nurses
- Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced environment
