Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality fetal anatomy scans and biophysical profiles to support clinical decision-making
• Obtain diagnostic Doppler studies and proficiently image fetal cardiac structures for fetal echocardiography
• Conduct first trimester nuchal screening and assist with invasive procedures such as amniocentesis and CVS when needed
• Operate and troubleshoot GE Voluson 22 and GE Voluson E10 equipment with care and precision
• Document findings accurately in Meditech, Viewpoint, and Sectra and communicate results to the MFM team
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and office staff to ensure compassionate patient care and smooth clinic flow
• Educate patients about procedures and findings in a clear, reassuring way while maintaining patient safety and dignity

Qualifications

• MFM ultrasound experience with OB/GYN registry (required)
• Experience imaging fetal cardiac structures or fetal echo experience (required)
• Fetal Echo Registry (preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of relevant sonography experience as listed on the job
• Comfortable performing or assisting with procedures such as amniocentesis and CVS
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-based environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with fetal anatomy scanning, BPP, Doppler studies, and fetal echocardiography
• Familiarity with GE Voluson 22 and GE Voluson E10 ultrasound systems
• Experience with EMR/IT systems: Meditech, Viewpoint, and Sectra
• Attention to detail for accurate imaging and documentation
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and maintain composure in a busy outpatient MFM setting
• Patient-centered approach and clear, compassionate communication
