Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care and support daily
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered with accuracy
- Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to the care team
- Document patient care and observations clearly in the medical record
- Assist with procedures and collaborate with nursing staff to improve outcomes
- Support discharge planning and patient education to promote safe transitions
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification or willingness to obtain
- Clinical experience as an LPN is welcomed; per diem candidates encouraged to apply
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Education
- LPN diploma or vocational nursing certificate required
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid knowledge of nursing fundamentals and LPN scope of practice
- Medication administration and basic IV/route familiarity where applicable
- Patient assessment and vital sign monitoring
- Charting and documentation best practices
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time during busy shifts
