Location: Albuquerque, NM

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (days vary), 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM NOC (overnight)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $31 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care during overnight shifts
Administer medications and treatments accurately and document per policy
Monitor resident condition, report changes, and escalate concerns promptly
Assist residents with activities of daily living and support dignity and comfort
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate high-quality care
Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in the health record
Follow infection control practices and facility safety protocols

Qualifications

Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in New Mexico required
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Experience in long-term care, rehab, or similar setting preferred
Strong clinical judgment, reliable assessment skills, and attention to detail
Excellent communication and teamwork skills; compassionate patient focus

Education

Graduate of an accredited Practical/Vocational Nursing program (LPN/LVN diploma or certificate)

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and safe documentation practices
Basic clinical assessment and vital sign monitoring
Familiarity with electronic health record documentation
Infection control and safe patient handling techniques
Time management, prioritization, and situational awareness during overnight shifts
Clear, professional communication with residents, families, and team members
