Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care following established care plans
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Monitor patient status and communicate changes to the interdisciplinary team
- Document care, observations, and patient responses clearly and timely
- Assist with activities of daily living and promote patient comfort and dignity
- Support discharge planning and patient education to encourage positive outcomes
- Collaborate with teammates to maintain a safe, efficient, and caring environment
Qualifications
- Active LPN license in New Mexico (required)
- Current BLS/CPR certification (or willing to obtain prior to start)
- Previous LPN experience in a long-term care or rehab setting preferred
- Immunizations and health screenings per facility policy
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program
Knowledge & Skills
- Clinical assessment and basic nursing interventions
- Medication administration and documentation best practices
- Comfortable with electronic charting and standard clinical equipment
- Ability to prioritize tasks and respond calmly in busy situations
- Compassionate patient interaction and family communication
