Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT scans and diagnostic imaging using Siemens 64- and 128-slice CT systems to support accurate patient diagnoses
• Operate fluoroscopy, portable X-ray and C-arm equipment safely and effectively during procedures
• Document imaging procedures and patient information accurately in the Cerner EMR to ensure continuity of care
• Collaborate with onsite radiologists, nursing, RTs and other team members to coordinate patient care and throughput
• Maintain radiation safety practices and wear/use required monitoring badges while educating patients on procedure expectations
• Assist with portable CXR and patient transport within the hospital when needed to keep the department running smoothly
• Promote a positive patient experience by communicating clearly, showing empathy, and maintaining professionalism

Qualifications

• BLS certification required
• ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications required (Certified Radiologic Technologist and Certified CT Technologist)
• California CRT with Fluoroscopy permit required
• Minimum experience: listing includes 2 years (system) and a client note indicating 3–5 years’ radiology experience preferred — meet the client requirement before applying
• Ability to float between CT, X-Ray and Fluoro and work night shifts reliably
• Positive attitude, strong teamwork ethic, and excellent patient-facing communication skills
• Two supervisor references required at submittal (one within 12 months and one within 3 years worked)

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with Siemens Sensation 64 and Siemens Edge 128 CT scanners
• Experience with Carestream and GE portable X-ray units, OEC C-arms, and Philips Rad/R&F systems
• Comfortable performing portable CXR and C-arm operations across the hospital
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic medical records for imaging documentation
• Strong patient handling and transport skills and the ability to work independently on night shifts
• Excellent teamwork, adaptability, and a customer-focused approach to promote positive patient experiences
