Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to patients as an LPN, ensuring dignity and comfort
- Administer medications and document care accurately and timely
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the care team
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and physicians to support individualized care plans
- Assist with activities of daily living and patient mobility with safety and respect
- Maintain accurate, legible medical records and follow facility protocols
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential in good standing
- Active basic life support (BLS) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Previous LPN clinical experience preferred; confident in medication administration and patient monitoring
- Ability to work 12+ hour day shifts and adapt to per-diem scheduling needs
- Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude
Education
- Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program or equivalent LPN training
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid knowledge of medication administration and documentation best practices
- Basic assessment skills and ability to recognize changes in patient status
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems or willingness to learn
- Good time management, prioritization, and infection control practices
- Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
