Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (days vary), 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM (Day shift)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $33 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to patients as an LPN, ensuring dignity and comfort
Administer medications and document care accurately and timely
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the care team
Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and physicians to support individualized care plans
Assist with activities of daily living and patient mobility with safety and respect
Maintain accurate, legible medical records and follow facility protocols

Qualifications

Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential in good standing
Active basic life support (BLS) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Previous LPN clinical experience preferred; confident in medication administration and patient monitoring
Ability to work 12+ hour day shifts and adapt to per-diem scheduling needs
Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude

Education

Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program or equivalent LPN training

Knowledge & Skills

Solid knowledge of medication administration and documentation best practices
Basic assessment skills and ability to recognize changes in patient status
Familiarity with electronic health record systems or willingness to learn
Good time management, prioritization, and infection control practices
Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
