Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care as an LPN in the assigned area
• Administer medications and treatments according to policy and physician orders
• Monitor patient status, document changes, and communicate updates to the care team
• Assist with activities of daily living and support patient comfort and safety
• Collaborate with RNs, providers, and support staff to coordinate effective care
• Maintain accurate, timely charting and adhere to facility protocols
• Participate in shift handoffs and contribute to a positive, team-focused environment

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential — ready to practice with confidence
• Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification (or willing to obtain)
• Comfortable administering medications and performing common nursing procedures
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively on a care team
• Ability to pass required background checks and facility screenings
• Per diem availability and flexibility to cover shifts as needed

Education

• Completion of an accredited LPN/LVN program (or equivalent) and state licensure

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical assessment and basic nursing interventions
• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Infection control, safety protocols, and patient hygiene care
• Time management and prioritization during busy shifts
• Electronic health record (EHR) familiarity — quick learner encouraged
• Compassionate patient interaction and family communication
