Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem/Variable days, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, Day shift

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
Assist nursing staff with patient transfers, positioning, and mobility support
Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team promptly
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and observations
Support meal service and ensure residents receive appropriate feeding assistance
Follow infection control practices and help maintain a safe, clean environment
Engage residents with respectful communication and person-centered care

Qualifications

Active LNA license (VT or NH) appropriate for work in the region
Completion of an approved nursing assistant training program
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Valid TB test and up-to-date immunizations per facility policy
Ability to pass background check and meet facility onboarding requirements
Dependable, compassionate, and comfortable working in long shifts

Education

High school diploma or GED
Completion of state-approved nursing assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient care skills and familiarity with ADLs
Clear communication and teamwork with nursing staff and residents
Basic charting and documentation skills
Knowledge of infection control and resident safety practices
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced care setting
Empathy, patience, and respect for resident dignity
