Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate bedside care and support to patients
- Administer medications and treatments according to the plan of care
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, status changes, and responses to treatment
- Document nursing care accurately and timely in the medical record
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate excellent patient care
- Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and follow-up
- Maintain infection control and safety standards at all times
- Respond professionally and calmly to urgent patient needs
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential required
- Eligibility to practice in New Hampshire required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification preferred or required per facility
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Prior LPN experience in clinical or long-term care settings is a plus
Education
- Graduate of an accredited practical or vocational nursing program (LPN diploma or certificate)
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid knowledge of basic nursing principles and practical nursing interventions
- Medication administration and basic medication calculation skills
- Proficient with vital signs, wound care basics, and patient assessments
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and accurate documentation
- Good time management and prioritization in a clinical environment
- Patient education and clear, compassionate communication
