Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem / variable days, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM day shift (12.5-hour) — schedule varies by need

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $21 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, person-centered care to residents and patients
Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility)
Take and report vital signs and observe changes in condition
Support safe transfers and ambulation while promoting independence
Document care accurately and communicate clearly with the nursing team
Follow infection control procedures and maintain a clean environment
Build positive relationships with residents, families, and coworkers

Qualifications

Active Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification (NH and/or VT as required)
Comfortable working a 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM day shift when scheduled
Ability to provide respectful, patient-focused care and follow care plans
Strong communication skills and ability to work within a care team
Willingness to complete facility onboarding and mandatory trainings

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and ADL support
Vital signs measurement and reporting
Basic documentation and charting practices
Infection prevention and safety procedures
Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills
Time management and teamwork in busy clinical settings
