Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Varies (Per Diem), 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
Assist with safe transfers and mobility support to promote independence
Monitor, record, and report resident condition and vital signs accurately
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
Document care thoroughly and communicate changes to the nursing team
Support restorative care programs and encourage resident engagement
Build trusting relationships with residents and their families through respectful, person-centered care

Qualifications

Current Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification (VT or NH appropriate for this role)
Comfortable working overnight shifts and supporting residents during sleep hours
Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented attitude
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant training program

Knowledge & Skills

Patient-centered care and dignity-preserving approaches
Basic clinical skills including vital signs and documentation
Infection control and safety awareness
Clear verbal and written communication with residents and care teams
Time management and the ability to prioritize tasks in a busy setting
