Location: Andover, MA

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (days vary), 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM day shift

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care on every shift
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Monitor patients’ conditions and promptly report changes to the care team
Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record
Support residents with activities of daily living and promote independence
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated care
Communicate clearly and empathetically with residents and their families

Qualifications

Current LPN or RN license (applicable to Massachusetts practice)
Previous experience in long-term care, rehab, or similar settings is a plus
Ability to work per diem shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills

Education

Completion of an accredited LPN or RN program (as applicable)
High school diploma or GED required

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in medication administration and basic wound care
Comfortable with resident assessments, vital signs, and charting
Solid understanding of infection control and safety practices
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time across a busy shift
Proven teamwork and interpersonal skills with residents and staff
