Shift Type: Per diem, days vary, 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM day shift

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents in a rehab and nursing setting
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create and follow individualized care plans
Monitor and document resident status, vital signs, and progress in the medical record
Support wound care, mobility assistance, and activities of daily living as appropriate
Communicate clearly with residents and families, offering education and reassurance
Maintain compliance with facility policies and state nursing regulations

Qualifications

Active LPN license in Massachusetts (or active RN license if applying as an RN)
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or required by facility
Comfortable working in a long-term care or skilled rehab environment
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
Dependable, patient-centered approach with attention to detail

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and documentation
Basic wound care and assessment
Skilled in taking and interpreting vital signs
Familiarity with electronic medical records and charting
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time during busy shifts
Compassionate patient interaction and family communication
