Location: Clovis, NM

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (days vary), 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $21 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming)
Monitor residents and report changes in condition to the nursing team promptly
Take and record vital signs, intake/output, and other routine observations
Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
Support mobility and safe transfers, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
Document care accurately and communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff
Build trusting relationships with residents to promote dignity and emotional wellbeing

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential or state equivalent
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to pass background check and meet facility health requirements
Comfortable and experienced with overnight 12-hour style shifts
Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-centered approach
Previous experience in long-term care or rehab is a plus

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completed state-approved CNA training program required

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on resident care and ADL support
Basic vital signs and charting
Infection control and safe hygiene practices
Patient safety, transfer techniques, and fall prevention
Clear, compassionate communication with residents and families
Teamwork, time management, and the ability to prioritize tasks
