Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care following care plans and facility policy
Administer medications and document patient responses accurately and timely
Monitor vital signs, assess patient status, and escalate changes to the care team
Support patient activities of daily living with dignity and respect
Collaborate with RNs, providers, and interdisciplinary staff to coordinate excellent care
Maintain clear, professional documentation and communicate effectively with families
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and safety practices to enhance patient outcomes

Qualifications

Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license — Pennsylvania license preferred or eligible
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications welcomed
Prior bedside nursing experience preferred, especially in long-term care or acute settings
Strong communication skills and a patient-first attitude
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Education

Vocational nursing diploma or equivalent nursing education required
Completion of an accredited LPN program

Knowledge & Skills

Solid clinical assessment and medication administration skills
Comfortable with electronic medical records and accurate documentation
Infection control practices and safety-minded approach
Time management and prioritization to handle varying patient needs
Empathy, professionalism, and strong teamwork abilities
