House Supervisor (RN)

Location: El Cajon, CA

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Day (must be flexible with hours as needed)

Candidate Pay Rate: $52 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Supervise daily nursing operations across the unit to ensure safe, high-quality patient care
Lead and mentor clinical staff, providing guidance and support to direct reports
Assess and triage patient care needs, making timely decisions and escalating when necessary
Coordinate staffing, admissions, transfers, and resource allocation to maintain smooth operations
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to resolve issues and improve patient flow
Ensure compliance with policies, protocols, and regulatory standards while promoting best practices

Qualifications

Active California RN License (required)
BLS certification (required)
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience as an RN with direct reports and/or unit oversight (required)
Bachelor’s degree in nursing or healthcare-related field preferred
Flexible availability to accommodate changing unit needs

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or related field preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical judgment and patient assessment skills
Proven leadership and staff supervision abilities
Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with clinical workflows and commitment to patient safety
