Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on patient care and assist licensed therapists with outpatient treatment plans
• Deliver compassionate, individualized therapy to help patients reach their goals
• Document interventions and progress accurately and timely in EPIC
• Perform clinic maintenance tasks to meet DNV standards and support a safe care environment
• Champion patient safety and infection control best practices during every patient interaction
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to streamline operations and improve patient experience

Qualifications

• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a PTA, preferably in an outpatient setting
• Comfortable and experienced with EPIC charting and documentation workflows
• Willingness to work day shifts and cover one weekend shift every other week
• Able to assist with clinic maintenance and support DNV compliance activities
• Available to complete a 12-hour orientation

Education

• Associate degree or accredited PTA program completion preferred; related certifications or diploma considered

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient-care skills and hands-on therapeutic techniques
• Proficient documentation and charting practices (EPIC)
• Familiarity with outpatient therapy workflows and scheduling
• Knowledge of patient safety principles and DNV compliance expectations
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and time-management abilities
• Ability to maintain a clean, organized clinic environment
