Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver skilled occupational therapy interventions under OT supervision to help residents regain independence and function
Assist with care planning and provide clear, compassionate patient and family education to support meaningful recovery goals
Complete accurate and timely documentation to ensure continuity of care and meet regulatory requirements

Qualifications

Active California COTA license (required)
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential
Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients, families, and the rehab team
Strong organizational skills and attention to documentation detail
Ability to work collaboratively under OT supervision in a skilled nursing facility

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of skilled OT interventions appropriate for SNF residents
Excellent patient and team communication skills
Strong organizational skills and precise documentation practices
Experience with patient education and care planning in a rehabilitation setting
