Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM Day with on-call coverage after hours on weekdays 6:00 PM - 7:00 AM and 24-hour weekend coverage
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Support interventional radiology procedures by preparing patients, instruments and the imaging suite
- Assist with vascular and non-vascular procedures including PICC and C-line placements
- Prepare and support paracentesis, thoracentesis and biopsy procedures with attention to patient safety
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment including Phillips biplane systems under supervision
- Support embolizations and filter placements, anticipating needs of the physician and team
- Document procedures and patient care accurately in Meditech and communicate updates to the care team
- Maintain strict sterile technique and ensure procedural areas are clean and stocked
- Collaborate with nurses, technologists and physicians to deliver efficient, compassionate care
Qualifications
- RT-R certification required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience
- Experience with PICC, C-lines, paracentesis, thoracentesis, embolizations and biopsies preferred
- Comfortable with on-call and weekend coverage
- Neuro IR experience is a strong plus
Education
- RT-R certification (required)
- BLS certification (required)
Knowledge & Skills
- Familiarity with Meditech electronic medical record
- Experience using Philips biplane imaging systems
- Strong aseptic and sterile procedure skills
- Excellent patient monitoring and peri-procedural care
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced procedural suite
- Clear communication and teamwork with multidisciplinary staff
- Accurate procedural documentation and attention to detail
