Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care in accordance with CNA standards
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
- Support safe transfers and proper use of lifting/transfer equipment
- Follow infection control practices and maintain a clean, safe environment
- Complete required documentation and checklists accurately and timely
- Participate in Trinity Specialty Competency Testing and skills validation
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Successful License/Certificate Verification as part of onboarding
- Must complete Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist
- Current immunizations and health screenings: TB (2-step PPD or IGRA), MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, COVID-19, Influenza
- Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen and Trinity Color Vision check required
- Reliable, patient-focused attitude with strong communication skills
- Availability for per diem shifts and participation in the PD pool
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Current CNA certification (required)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong hands-on resident care skills and familiarity with ADLs
- Infection prevention and safe patient handling techniques
- Basic charting and documentation practices
- Ability to follow clinical checklists and competency testing processes
- Good interpersonal skills and teamwork in a fast-paced care setting
- Adaptability to varied shift assignments and unit needs
