Roles & Responsibilities
- Interpret a wide range of diagnostic imaging studies with a primary focus on body imaging
- Perform onsite fluoroscopy procedures and manage ECC cases when scheduled
- Cover stat and inpatient imaging needs as part of the department rotation
- Participate in a hybrid workflow, delivering high-quality reads both onsite and remotely
- Collaborate with colleagues and care teams to ensure timely, patient-centered imaging care
- Contribute to quality standards and continuous improvement initiatives within the radiology department
- Provide clear, actionable reports and consultative expertise to referring physicians
Qualifications
- MD or DO with completion of Diagnostic Radiology residency
- Fellowship training or demonstrable expertise in Body Imaging preferred
- Board certification or eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology
- Active medical license in Michigan or eligibility to obtain one
- Experience with inpatient, stat/on-call imaging and fluoroscopy procedures
- Strong commitment to patient care, teamwork, and quality standards
- Ability to work in a hybrid onsite/remote model
- H-1B visa accepted
Education
- MD or DO (Diagnostic Radiology residency required; Body Imaging fellowship preferred)
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in diagnostic radiology and body imaging modalities
- Proficiency performing and interpreting fluoroscopy and inpatient imaging studies
- Familiarity with PACS and teleradiology workflows for hybrid work models
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to quality assurance and patient-centered practice
- Ability to handle stat and on-call cases efficiently and calmly
