Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality inpatient and outpatient OB/GYN care, managing a full patient panel with compassion and efficiency
- Perform gynecologic and obstetric surgical procedures, contributing to the practice’s robust surgical volume
- Manage prenatal care and delivery management for a busy birthing center that delivers roughly 370 babies a year
- Collaborate closely with an OB/GYN partner, a Nurse Practitioner, and clinical support staff to maintain continuity of care
- Document patient encounters using paper charting in clinic and coordinate with the hospital EMR as needed
- Utilize on-site ultrasound, NST, IUI, and phlebotomy resources to provide comprehensive women's health services
- Participate in quality improvement, peer collaboration, and supporting a collegial workplace culture
Qualifications
- MD or DO with completion of an accredited OB/GYN residency program
- Board certification or board eligibility in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Valid Michigan medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure in Michigan
- Active DEA registration or ability to obtain
- Comfortable providing both inpatient and outpatient care, including deliveries and gynecologic procedures
- Experience with paper charting in clinic and working with hospital EMR systems
- J-1 visa candidates welcome; H-1B candidates cannot be accepted

Education
- MD or DO degree
- Completion of accredited Obstetrics & Gynecology residency
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong surgical skills for gynecologic procedures and operative obstetrics
- Skilled in prenatal care, labor & delivery management
- Proficient with onsite diagnostic tools: ultrasound and NST
- Familiarity with fertility procedures such as IUI
- Comfortable supervising/working with nursing staff and medical assistants
- Clinical documentation on paper charts and coordination with hospital EMR workflows
- Good interpersonal skills and commitment to patient-centered care
