Roles & Responsibilities
- Process and code vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Enter invoice and payment data into accounting software and maintain electronic records
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies with professionalism
- Prepare and assist with payment runs and check requests as required
- Support month-end activities and provide reliable documentation for audits
- Collaborate with internal partners and vendors to clarify invoice issues and ensure on-time payment
- Suggest small process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- 6+ years of hands-on Accounts Payable experience
- Proven experience using accounting software for invoice processing
- Strong Excel skills and comfortable with data entry and basic formulas
- Excellent organizational skills and strong math aptitude
- Comfortable working on-site for the duration of the assignment
Education
- High school diploma or GED
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid understanding of accounts payable processes and controls
- Experience with invoice coding, PO matching, and vendor reconciliation
- Proficiency in Excel including VLOOKUP and basic data manipulation
- Attention to detail and ability to spot and correct discrepancies
- Clear verbal and written communication for vendor interactions
