Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiographic exams using X-ray equipment with accuracy and care
- Operate and maintain radiography equipment to ensure safe, high-quality images
- Prepare patients for procedures, explaining techniques and ensuring comfort and safety
- Position patients correctly and apply imaging protocols to capture diagnostic images
- Follow radiation safety practices and infection control protocols to protect patients and staff
- Document procedures and maintain accurate patient and imaging records in the charting system
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to support patient care
- Provide dependable registry coverage to maintain smooth operations during staffing vacancies
Qualifications
- Current RADT (Radiologic Technologist) certification/registry (required for registry coverage)
- Valid state licensure or ability to obtain licensure in California
- Experience with radiography/X-ray procedures and equipment
- Comfortable with 10-hour shift formats and schedule flexibility (Mon-Thu or Mon-Fri)
- Strong patient care, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to pass facility credentialing and background checks
Education
- Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or completion of an accredited radiography program
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency in radiographic positioning and imaging techniques
- Knowledge of radiation safety principles and best practices
- Ability to operate digital X-ray equipment and PACS/EMR systems
- Strong patient assessment and communication skills
- Attention to image quality, detail, and accurate documentation
- Problem-solving skills for adapting techniques to patient needs
