Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging exams for pediatric through adult patients with technical precision and compassionate bedside care
• Prepare and safely administer contrast media and start peripheral IVs following established protocols
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot CT scanners to ensure excellent image quality and minimal downtime
• Document exams and patient information accurately in Epic to support seamless continuity of care
• Apply isolation precautions and infection control practices to protect patients and staff
• Coordinate with IV teams, transport, nursing, and other departments to keep patient flow efficient
• Deliver outstanding bedside care in high-volume acute care and outpatient settings to improve patient experience

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or completion of an accredited CT program
• State licensure where applicable
• ARRT (R) certification preferred
• BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Minimum 1 year of CT experience preferred; enthusiastic first-timers with strong aptitude are welcome
• Experience charting in Epic preferred
• Ability to prepare and administer contrast media and start peripheral IVs
• Comfortable working with pediatric through adult populations and specialized exams

Education

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or completion of an accredited CT program

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with CT protocols for abdomen, pelvis, chest, head and neck, spine, and musculoskeletal imaging
• Hands-on experience with GE PACS, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba imaging systems
• Efficient documentation skills in Epic
• Familiarity with isolation precautions and safe contrast administration
• Ability to troubleshoot imaging equipment and maintain scanner performance
• Strong teamwork, clear communication, and compassionate bedside patient care
• Attention to detail for accurate exam documentation and patient safety
