Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in a busy acute care environment
- Administer medications and therapies safely and document patient responses accurately
- Perform thorough patient assessments and monitor for clinical changes
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses and aftercare with clarity and empathy
- Champion patient safety through timely, accurate electronic health record documentation
Qualifications
- Active WA State Registered Nurse license (required)
- American Heart Association ACLS card (required)
- BLS/CPR certification (preferred)
- Minimum 1+ year clinical nursing experience in acute care or similar setting (preferred)
- Strong critical thinking, clear communication, and teamwork skills
- Comfortable using electronic health record (EHR) systems and documenting accurately
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled patient assessment with attention to subtle clinical changes
- Medication administration and IV therapy knowledge
- Proficiency with electronic health record documentation
- Ability to prioritize tasks and perform effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Clear, compassionate communication with patients, families, and care teams
- Safety-first mindset and commitment to accurate documentation
