Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in a busy acute care environment
• Administer medications and therapies safely and document patient responses accurately
• Perform thorough patient assessments and monitor for clinical changes
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses and aftercare with clarity and empathy
• Champion patient safety through timely, accurate electronic health record documentation

Qualifications

• Active WA State Registered Nurse license (required)
• American Heart Association ACLS card (required)
• BLS/CPR certification (preferred)
• Minimum 1+ year clinical nursing experience in acute care or similar setting (preferred)
• Strong critical thinking, clear communication, and teamwork skills
• Comfortable using electronic health record (EHR) systems and documenting accurately

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) preferred
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled patient assessment with attention to subtle clinical changes
• Medication administration and IV therapy knowledge
• Proficiency with electronic health record documentation
• Ability to prioritize tasks and perform effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Clear, compassionate communication with patients, families, and care teams
• Safety-first mindset and commitment to accurate documentation
