    Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform thorough respiratory assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to improve patient outcomes
- Conduct and interpret diagnostic respiratory tests to support timely clinical decisions
- Manage ventilator therapy, oxygen delivery, and advanced airway care for acute and critical patients
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient-centered care
- Educate patients and families on disease management and safe discharge plans to support recovery at home
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation while adhering to infection control and safety protocols
- Participate in departmental competencies and quality improvement initiatives to raise standards of care
Qualifications
- WA State Respiratory Care Practitioner license (required)
- NBRC credential and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification (required)
- American Heart Association BLS required; ACLS, PALS, and NRP required
- Comfortable and experienced with ventilators, oxygen therapy, and advanced respiratory modalities
- Strong teamwork and communication skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Eligible to work under C2C or W2 employment terms
Education
- Associate Degree in Respiratory Care (required)
- Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Care or related field (preferred)
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient assessment and bedside respiratory care planning
- Mechanical ventilation management and thoughtful weaning strategies
- Pulmonary function testing and interpretation
- Familiarity with cardiac stress testing procedures
- Neonatal and pediatric respiratory support basics
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) documentation and compliance
- Infection control and patient safety best practices
