Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patients thoroughly and design individualized treatment plans that restore function and independence
• Deliver hands-on therapy and evidence-based exercise interventions with clinical excellence and empathy
• Document patient care accurately and promptly in the EMR to support continuity and positive outcomes
• Collaborate with clinic staff, families, and referring providers to optimize patient recovery
• Track measurable progress, set realistic goals, and adapt plans as patients improve
• Mentor colleagues and contribute to a positive clinic culture built on teamwork and respect

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Minnesota Physical Therapist license or ability to obtain it prior to start (licensure assistance available)
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; Master’s or Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy accepted with current Minnesota licensure
• Experience in outpatient physical therapy required; travel PT experience is a plus
• Current BLS/CPR certification required
• Ability to pass background checks, health screenings, and required immunizations
• Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and timely documentation skills

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred
• Master’s or Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy accepted with current Minnesota licensure

Knowledge & Skills

• Musculoskeletal evaluation and evidence-based treatment techniques
• Therapeutic exercise prescription, progression, and manual therapy approaches
• Proficiency with EMR systems and clear, timely documentation
• Strong clinical reasoning and goal-oriented treatment planning
• Excellent patient education and motivational skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and families
