Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT exams using modern scanners to produce diagnostic images that guide patient care
• Position patients with compassion and safety while applying radiation safety and ALARA principles
• Operate PACS and imaging systems to acquire, process, and archive studies accurately and efficiently
• Collaborate with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely, accurate diagnoses
• Maintain precise patient records and documentation in accordance with hospital protocols
• Participate in equipment quality control and routine maintenance to ensure reliable imaging
• Educate patients clearly and compassionately about procedures and contrast safety
• Troubleshoot basic imaging equipment issues and escalate when needed to minimize downtime

Qualifications

• Current ARRT RT(R) credential (required)
• Current ARRT (CT) credential (required)
• Unencumbered Oregon Radiologic Technology license (required)
• Healthcare Provider BLS (required)
• Hospital or acute care imaging experience preferred
• Willing and available to take a travel assignment to Lincoln City, OR

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (Associate degree preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of CT protocols and cross-sectional anatomy
• Familiarity with PACS, DICOM standards, and image post-processing
• Solid understanding of radiation safety principles and ALARA practices
• Excellent patient positioning skills and IV/contrast awareness
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Basic troubleshooting and equipment quality control awareness
