Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality critical care to adult and pediatric ICU patients with clinical precision and compassion
• Assess, monitor, document, and respond promptly to changes in patient condition to keep patients safe
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and advanced life support following established protocols
• Operate and troubleshoot ventilators and hemodynamic monitors to maintain patient stability
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create coordinated, patient-centered care plans
• Educate patients and families clearly and compassionately to support recovery and informed decisions
• Triage and prioritize in high-acuity situations to deliver timely, effective care
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and ensure effective communication across shifts

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Oregon or a valid multi-state compact RN license
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience; ICU experience strongly preferred
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred
• Proven ability to work independently with strong clinical judgment
• Comfort caring for both adult and pediatric critical care patients
• Strong teamwork, clear communication, and precise documentation skills

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of critical care nursing principles and ICU protocols
• Hands-on experience with ventilators and hemodynamic monitoring
• Advanced cardiac life support and adult and pediatric critical care assessment skills
• Medication administration and IV infusion management expertise
• Comfortable with electronic medical record (EMR) charting and precise documentation
• Ability to triage, prioritize, and respond effectively in high-acuity situations
