Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT examinations while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care
• Operate CT equipment safely and consistently to produce diagnostic-quality images
• Collaborate with imaging teams across locations to ensure seamless patient care
• Adapt quickly to changing locations and mid-shift transfers to meet evolving patient needs
• Maintain accurate exam documentation and adhere to safety and infection control standards
• Assist with patient registration and clerical tasks at off-site locations to keep workflows efficient
• Mentor peers and contribute to continuous improvement to foster a positive team environment

Qualifications

• ARRT registration required (you must be credentialed)
• Current Maine RT licensure required
• Current BLS certification required (support available if needed)
• Proven hands-on CT experience and comfort working in varied clinical settings
• Strong patient-care focus with clear communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work across multiple locations and accept varied shift assignments
• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or related field preferred

Education

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or related field (preferred)
• ARRT registration (required)
• Maine state licensure (required)

Knowledge & Skills

• Computed Tomography operation, protocols, and image optimization
• Radiologic Technology fundamentals and best practices
• Patient positioning, contrast protocols, and strong focus on patient safety
• Familiarity with PACS and accurate imaging documentation
• Experience with Bone Densitometry, Fluoroscopy, C-arm, and Portable Radiography (preferred)
• Strict adherence to infection control and safety standards
• Strong documentation and clerical support skills for off-site workflows
• Ability to adapt quickly to varied clinical settings and equipment
