Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT examinations while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care
- Operate CT equipment safely and consistently to produce diagnostic-quality images
- Collaborate with imaging teams across locations to ensure seamless patient care
- Adapt quickly to changing locations and mid-shift transfers to meet evolving patient needs
- Maintain accurate exam documentation and adhere to safety and infection control standards
- Assist with patient registration and clerical tasks at off-site locations to keep workflows efficient
- Mentor peers and contribute to continuous improvement to foster a positive team environment
Qualifications
- ARRT registration required (you must be credentialed)
- Current Maine RT licensure required
- Current BLS certification required (support available if needed)
- Proven hands-on CT experience and comfort working in varied clinical settings
- Strong patient-care focus with clear communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work across multiple locations and accept varied shift assignments
- Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or related field preferred
Education
- Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or related field (preferred)
- ARRT registration (required)
- Maine state licensure (required)
Knowledge & Skills
- Computed Tomography operation, protocols, and image optimization
- Radiologic Technology fundamentals and best practices
- Patient positioning, contrast protocols, and strong focus on patient safety
- Familiarity with PACS and accurate imaging documentation
- Experience with Bone Densitometry, Fluoroscopy, C-arm, and Portable Radiography (preferred)
- Strict adherence to infection control and safety standards
- Strong documentation and clerical support skills for off-site workflows
- Ability to adapt quickly to varied clinical settings and equipment
