Sonographer – UHC Staffing

Sonographer

Location: Durango, Colorado

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, variable days with weekend and call requirements

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality General, OBGYN, and Vascular ultrasound studies
Conduct diagnostic procedures including drains and biopsies
Collaborate with radiologists to deliver accurate imaging results
Maintain equipment and ensure proper documentation in Fuji EPIC system
Provide compassionate patient care during every scan

Qualifications

Current RDMS certification (General or OBGYN)
BLS certification required
RVT preferred, RDCS a bonus
Strong experience in General and OBGYN ultrasound
Procedure experience required
Ability to work variable 10-hour shifts and take call

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with Phillips ultrasound equipment
Experience with Fuji EPIC EMR and PACS systems
Skilled in General, OBGYN, and Vascular imaging
Comfortable performing 8-10+ scans per day
Knowledge of sterile procedures and drain/biopsy protocols
