Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate cardiac telemetry care to patients recovering from MI, CP, and lung transplants
Monitor and interpret EKGs using Philips monitors while delivering safe, high-quality nursing care
Administer non-titrating drips and manage patients on CPAP and high-flow oxygen
Collaborate with a dedicated charge nurse and PCT team to maintain excellent patient ratios of 1:3-4
Float to other telemetry units including Neuro Tele as needed to support the broader care team
Complete required SIMs Lab training for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum one year of Level 1 trauma experience preferred
Strong EKG interpretation skills
Cerner EMR experience
Ability to pass dysrhythmia exam with up to two attempts

Knowledge & Skills

Cardiac stepdown and post-surgical patient care
Lung transplant recovery support
ER overflow and detox patient management
Maintaining sterile field during procedures
Team collaboration in a fast-paced telemetry environment
