Location: Durango, Colorado

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Variety of 10-hour shifts including 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM Monday-Friday, 10:30 AM - 9:00 PM Monday-Friday, and 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM Saturday/Sunday/Holidays, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform sterile compounding to ensure safe medication preparation
Manage Pyxis deliveries, inventory, and outdates across the hospital
Conduct crash cart checks and refills to support emergency readiness
Handle phone triage and respond promptly to medication messages
Support pharmacy operations throughout ER, ICU, inpatient, imaging, cath lab, and hospice areas
Collaborate with the pharmacy team to maintain smooth medication dispensing workflows

Qualifications

Active CPhT certification required
Current Colorado Pharmacy Technician License
Experience with sterile compounding and hospital pharmacy operations
Friendly, flexible, and hardworking attitude

Knowledge & Skills

Sterile compounding techniques
Pyxis medication dispensing system
Hospital pharmacy operations
Crash cart management
Epic EHR experience
Strong communication and phone triage skills
