Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care across multiple specialties including Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Rehab, Renal, Bariatrics, Ortho, Trauma, and ED Observation
Float throughout Zone 4 facilities within a 60-mile radius to support patient care needs
Monitor and titrate Heparin drips while caring for adult and geriatric patients
Collaborate with designated charge nurses and nursing assistants to deliver excellent patient outcomes
Adapt quickly to various units ranging from General MS-Tele to specialized care areas
Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC and Alaris systems when available

Qualifications

Active RN license with 2 years of MS-Tele experience in the last 3 years
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Prior neuro experience preferred along with Alaris and EPIC familiarity
Ability to float within a 60-mile zone and work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills for diverse patient populations
Experience with cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation
Comfort working with vents, CPAP, BiPAP, and other respiratory equipment
Excellent communication and adaptability for floating assignments
Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
