Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing care across all surgical service lines including neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedic, GYN, general surgery, and DaVinci robotics
• Collaborate closely with surgical teams to ensure safe, efficient procedures for adult, geriatric, pediatric, and obstetric patients
• Float to pre/post op, PACU, or ER trauma cases when needed to support patient care across the facility
• Maintain flexibility and adapt to a dynamic daily surgical schedule while upholding the highest safety standards
• Mentor and educate fellow staff members while contributing to a culture of teamwork and continuous learning

Qualifications

• Active RN license with BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong experience in OR nursing and surgical procedures across multiple specialties
• Comfortable working in a facility without specialized teams, requiring broad surgical knowledge
• Must pass open-book skills exam with 90% or higher during orientation
• Valid driver's license required at time of submittal

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records
• Experience with neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedic, GYN, general surgery, and DaVinci robotics procedures
• Ability to work effectively across all service lines without specialized team support
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Flexibility to adapt to varied daily surgical schedules
