Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM with varied 8-hour shifts including 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM, or 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM; may require a Saturday or Sunday depending on weekend needs, with a day off during the week when working weekends

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional physical therapy care across acute care units including MedSurg, ICU, Telemetry, Oncology, and Cardiology
Deliver specialized treatment for ventilated patients and post-surgical ortho and total joint cases
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient recovery and mobility
Evaluate and treat a wide variety of patient populations in a fast-paced hospital setting
Document care using Cerner EMR and communicate effectively with the care team

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist license in California
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of acute care physical therapy experience
Experience with ortho, total joints, ICU, ventilated patients, MedSurg, oncology, and cardiology populations
Cerner EMR experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical skills in acute care physical therapy
Ability to work independently and make quick decisions
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Comfortable treating ventilated patients in ICU settings
Flexible and adaptable to varied patient needs
