Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Day and night shifts available, self-scheduling with balanced schedule provided to manager, 3 weekends in a 6-week schedule, rotating holidays, call required per census

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $75 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to laboring mothers and newborns in a supportive LDRP environment
Monitor fetal heart rates and respond promptly to changes using EFM technology
Titrate critical medications including Pitocin, Magnesium, Insulin, and D10 to ensure patient safety
Collaborate with a close-knit team to support high-BMI, diabetic, and substance-use patients
Float within Zone 1 when needed to support sister facilities and maintain excellent patient outcomes

Qualifications

Active Colorado or compact RN license
ACLS, NRP, AWHONN EFM, and STABLE certifications required
LDRP experience with comfort managing titratable drips
Ability to read and interpret own fetal monitoring strips
Willingness to take call and work rotating holidays

Knowledge & Skills

LDRP nursing with strong fetal monitoring skills
Titration of Pitocin, Magnesium, Insulin, and D10
OBIX EFM system experience
Bubble CPAP setup and monitoring
Comfort caring for high-BMI, diabetic, and substance-use patients
