Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor cardiac telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias with confidence
Provide compassionate care for patients with CHF, respiratory conditions, GI issues, diabetes, and post-cath needs
Collaborate with the care team on total joint replacement recovery journeys
Float to East Campus or PCU when needed to support patients across the system
Document assessments and interventions accurately in Cerner
Support patients experiencing CVA or TIA with skilled, attentive nursing care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Ability to pass the dysrhythmia exam within two attempts before signing contract
Experience reading basic telemetry strips
Some background with CVA, TIA, and total joint replacement patients preferred
Cerner experience strongly recommended due to limited orientation

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
Comfort with set-rate drips such as Diltiazem/Cardizem
BiPAP, CPAP, and breathing treatment support
Strong assessment and communication skills
Flexibility to float between units and campuses
