Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-acuity care to adult patients on a busy 40-bed Progressive Care Unit
Titrate cardiac and critical drips including Heparin, Nitro, Dopamine, Cardizem, Amiodarone, and insulin
Interpret telemetry strips and manage arterial lines with confidence and precision
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient outcomes and experiences
Float to MedSurg or ICU as needed while maintaining PCU-level care standards
Support patients and families through clear communication about medications and care plans

Qualifications

Active RN license and current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Competency managing arterial lines and titrating cardiac drips
Strong telemetry interpretation skills and adaptability to changing patient needs
Ability to pass an open-book skills exam with a 90 percent score during orientation
Willingness to work every other weekend and at least two holidays during the contract

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation
Cardiac drip titration and arterial line management
High-flow oxygen systems and basic ventilator troubleshooting
Patient experience focus with strong communication and teamwork
Cultural sensitivity serving diverse patient populations
