Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate cardiac step-down care to patients recovering from MI, CP, and lung transplants
Monitor and interpret EKGs using Philips telemetry while delivering safe, high-quality nursing care
Administer non-titrating drips and manage patients on CPAP and high-flow oxygen
Collaborate with a dedicated Charge Nurse and PCT support team to maintain excellent 1:3-4 ratios
Float to sister telemetry units when needed, expanding your skills across Neuro Tele and more
Complete required SIMs Lab training to master sterile technique for Foley and central line care

Qualifications

Current RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Level 1 trauma experience strongly preferred
Cerner EMR experience a plus
Must pass dysrhythmia exam with up to two attempts before start
Ability to work 36 hours per week on 12-hour shifts

Knowledge & Skills

Strong EKG interpretation and cardiac rhythm recognition
Comfort managing lung transplant, esophagectomy, and ER overflow patients
Skilled with Philips telemetry monitors and Cerner documentation
Understanding of sterile field technique for Foley and central line procedures
Flexible and ready to float across multiple telemetry units
