Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to oncology and trauma PCU patients
Administer chemotherapy and manage complex medication drips including heparin and cardizem
Monitor ventilators and perform hemodynamic assessments to keep patients stable
Collaborate with an amazing multidisciplinary team to create the best outcomes
Float to sister units when needed and bring your expertise wherever you go
Champion hourly rounding and patient experience initiatives that truly matter

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy certification required
Minimum 1 year of PCU or oncology nursing experience
First-time travelers welcome with a supportive onboarding process

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills for PCU-level patients
Comfort with EPIC electronic medical records
Experience with Alaris IV pumps and specialty lift equipment
Ability to titrate drips and manage lines such as CVP, A-line, and Swan-Ganz
Team-first attitude and genuine passion for oncology care
